Can you take me higher?

Something I learnt today: Christine is engaged. So is my sister. =)
Something that made me laugh today: JB rabbiting on over the phone.

I haven't written in this thing for a while. I feel that I can be forgiven on the fact that I have been out of the country for quite sometime, and it's taken me a while to readjust to my standard society.

So a lot has happened. The trip to Costa Rica (followed by Disneyland) was a blast quite frankly. Since then, slept a lot, have returned to work (shudder), hung out with all the people I missed, said goodbye to Daina (she moved to Sydney) and lost a lot of money at cards (I think my darling sister won in all).

Today I got myself a new phone. Which I'm hesitant to use. It's a fold open (YAY) with no camera (boo). But it's polyphonic (I want my phone to sound like a phone damn it. None of this sounding real nonsense...I want mine sharp, shril and painful to hear) and it's got a whole new menu thing and buttons that I'm not used to, so I'm scared to use it. But still, it's fun getting such new things. I'll probably settle down to read the manual later, followed by some Schindler's Ark and then sleep. I like sleep.

What else did I do today? I've begun working on my sister's birthday present. Hurrah.
